Shoot out

Hello! Here's some new work from this past weekend at a shoot out in West Haven, CT. Maggie and Jason Henriques are both photographers from the area and wanted to put together a shoot for a few photographers, models, and stylists. The location was awesome because we were able to make so much use of the area and have different looks. Jess Castellano, who was the creative director, created two contrasting looks for each model. Alexa's look was colorful and playful while Lauren's look was a bit more darker and sultry.

Fitness Shoot

Here's a girl who by taking one look at her you'll be motivated to start hitting the gym. Recently I had the chance to work with Loriann Marchese, who is a fitness model. She is in incredible shape and it shows! Loriann competes in various competitions and has most recently won WBFF Ms. Bikini Fitness Atlantic!. Two posts in one day!!? Wow, it must be a record for me!

Anyways, here are a few pics from this past week's photoshoot, "Circus", with Valentina D'Amore at David Apuzzo, Photoraphy Studio. Valentina is an actress from CT and is the cutest/sweetest gal around! She let me and makeup artist Leanne Harpin work our creative juices and we were pretty excited about the outcome. Enjoy!

Feathers

I apologize for not posting lately, but I have been keeping busy the past few weeks! The Vicious Kitty is expanding in leaps and bounds! Stay tuned for new jewelry in the next month, but in the meantime here are some hair projects I have been taking on.

I worked with David Apuzzo on some themed photoshoots and met some pretty fantastic people along the way. The first shoot, entitled "Feathers", featured Heidi Voight. The theme included, well, lots of feathers and captured a soft and relaxed feeling.

Hello, and Happy New Year!! As promised I will be posting some custom orders that I worked on over the past month or so. These four pieces were custom designed for a talented CT based photographer by the name of Aurora Onorato (Aurora Photography). She asked me to design four pieces for her four assistants. Each piece was designed to each individual's personality/interests. They enjoyed them and I hope you will too!!

Drum Roll, Please

So I've been talking about some new projects that I have been taking on as The Vicious Kitty is expanding. I love being creative and making jewelry has been such a fun way to express that. I have found yet another way to express my creativity...Hairstyling. I will be finishing up the cosmetology program at the end of February, and in the meantime have been working on my portfolio.

About a month ago I had an opportunity to work alongside some very talented CT based photographers and models on a shoot-out. It was a busy night consisting of 2-3 different 'looks' for about 10 models while 20-30 photographers captured their own vision with the models. The hairstylists and makeup artists basically had free artistic direction when it came to each look, so everyone's creative juices were flowing.

So I haven't updated in the past 2 weeks, but it doesn't mean I haven't been producing new work. I've actually been working on a number of custom Christmas orders. Unfortunately I cannot post any of them yet, well because they haven't reached the customers' hands yet and I don't want to ruin the surprise for them. I promise I will post them as soon as I can!

I have been busy with some other projects, involving yours truly styling hair. Again, I will post pictures and and explain in more detail my new ventures in the works. You may have noticed there is now a new 'hair' section that has been added, and in the next few weeks I will be launching the new project. As for now you'll have to sit tight, but please stay tuned. I am trying my hardest to keep everything updated and fresh in spite of the work I still have yet to finish. Just figured I take a break to update you!

Long Exposure

Here is one of the latest pieces I made for an upcoming photo shoot. This item is not yet available in my shop, since it is a custom piece and I have not yet decided if it will be for sale. I will make a similar piece upon request. Please be aware that it will not be an exact copy as colors and materials used do vary.

Anyways, this necklace is one of my favorites and is designed to sit just below the collarbone. Lately I have been inspired by this style since it is flattering when worn with an open collar. So whether you have a scoop neck tee or that sexy little dress you've been waiting to wear, this piece is quite versatile.

This funky piece is made from film that has been burned, shaped, and sealed. I then created the colorful spectrum using acrylic paint and various magazine clippings. It is sealed with a glossy clear coat for extended life. Enjoy!!
